Senior Consultant - CFO 4.0

We are looking for a colleague who will strengthen our
team of Financial Accounting Advisory Services. Our FAAS professionals are key
business advisors to the CFOs, Controllers and Treasurers of companies.
As part of our team you will assist our clients to address the finance agenda related challenges facing their business. 

We provide advisory services encompassing:

  • Finance function strategic transformation
  • Accounting, reporting and controlling process design and information systems implementation
  • Finance process optimization and automation incl. Robotics Process Automation
  • Data analytics and visualization
  • Corporate treasury services, including organizational and operations decision supports or treasury management systems implementation
  • Accounting and regulatory support on accounting change in IFRS (IFRS conversion and implementation, new standards implementation) and Czech Accounting Legislation
  • Financial consolidation
  • Transaction accounting
  • Short term assignments to finance functions – accounting specialist, compliance specialist, consolidation specialist, controller etc.
  • Audit readiness and audit remediation

Your job responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for project delivery and project management both during on-site as well as off-site client support and you will report to the project manager
  • During the projects you will lead small teams of junior consultants and cooperate with other EY service lines communicate to client’s management personnel
  • You will cooperate and exchange experience with other colleagues in the EMEIA region
  • You will be developing your own skills and experience with new technologies as well as making sure that you transfer your know-how to junior consultants
  • You will apply all analytical, technical and interpersonal skills

Our requirements:

  • Knowledge and min. 2 years of working experience in financial reporting or corporate treasury or controlling department
  • Excellent communication skills both in Czech/Slovak and English
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Access)
  • Willingness to operate in a variety of sectors
  • Willingness to work with new technologies
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Basic project management skills
  • Willingness for occasional travelling

What would be an advantage / nice to have:

  • Experience with finance transformation (e.g. in or out-sourcing or process optimization) or financial systems implementation projects (e.g. SAP implementation)
  • External or internal audit experience, financial consolidation experience or management accounting experience
  • ACCA, CFA or other professional qualification or preparing for them
  • PRINCE 2 or Scrum certification
  • Ability to identify business opportunities – entrepreneurial approach to business, commercially and strategically driven
  • Basic programming skills (SQL, Python…)
  • RPA knowledge
